CIDCA vice-chairman meets UNAIDS executive director

On July 17, Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, held a meeting with Winnie Byanyima, executive director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS.

The two sides exchanged in-depth views on a wide range of topics, including jointly implementing the memorandum of understanding on the Global Development Initiative, initiating projects funded by the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund against the background of UN reform, sharing the successful experiences of Chinese modernization, enhancing HIV/AIDS prevention and control capacity of developing countries, and advancing the building of a global community of health for all.
