Lei Pili Lectures at the Global Development Initiative 2024 BRICS Excellence Training Workshop on ICT and Digital Transformation

On December 4, Lei Pili, Deputy Director-General of the Global Development Promotion Center (GDPC), delivered a keynote lecture on the “Global Development Initiative” to participants of the 2024 BRICS Excellence Training Workshop on ICT and Digital Transformation. He also engaged in discussions with the attendees.

The workshop, themed “Strengthening Digital Transformation Cooperation, Creating a BRICS Digital Future Together”, is co-hosted by the GDPC of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) and the BRICS Institute of Future Networks in Shenzhen, China. This program is a human resource development cooperation project specifically designed to implement the Global Development Initiative and enhance digital transformation capacity building among BRICS countries. The 14-day workshop is attended by 23 government officials, scholars, and practitioners from 13 countries, including South Africa, Brazil, and Mongolia.
