GDPC Holds a Symposium with Lowy Institute for International Policy

On December 10, local time, Director-General Tang Ying and her delegation held a symposium with the Lowy Institute for International Policy. The two parties engaged in comprehensive discussions on topics including the strategies and initiatives of China and Australia’s foreign aid and international development cooperation, the core principles of the Global Development Initiative, the effectiveness and transparency of foreign aid, and trilateral cooperation.

The symposium was attended by 12 researchers from the Lowy Institute, as well as Professor Zha Daojiong from the School of International Studies and the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at Peking University.

The Lowy Institute for International Policy is esteemed as one of Australia’s most influential independent think tanks focused on international affairs.
